Finance Transformation & Analytics Specialist at Warszawa

Role and Responsibilities

•  Participate in monthly closing and financial controlling processes.
• Prepare financial reports, cost analyses, forecasts, and budgeting activities.
• Support annual budget preparation including investment planning and tracking.
• Perform periodical planning activities (forecast, target plans).
• Monitor and control ongoing investment projects.
• Create analyses and reports for HQ and R&D Leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate controlling and reporting processes.
• Reduce manual work through process optimization and automation initiatives.
• Develop and improve reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis solutions.
• Support implementation of data-driven and AI-supported analytical solutions.
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Contribute to transforming controlling processes into a more automated and scalable environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or similar analytical role.
• Educational background in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, or related field.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, SQL, VBA, or Python would be a strong advantage.
• Interest in AI, automation, and process optimization within finance and controlling.
• Experience working with databases and large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical improvements.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving global environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and openness to learning new technologies and tools.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SAP.
