On behalf of our Client – a leading international manufacturing organization in the automotive industry and part of the global ITT Corporation – we are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional for the role of EHS, Fire Protection & Environmental Manager.
Location: Kańczuga / Stalowa Wola, Poland
Key responsibilities
- Full ownership of Health & Safety, Fire Protection and Environmental Protection across two manufacturing locations
- Ensuring compliance with local legal requirements and global ITT EHS standards
- Leading and developing the local EHS team
- Conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Investigating incidents and driving root cause analysis processes
- Developing and executing initiatives to improve safety performance and reduce operational risk
- Partnering with Plant Management and international stakeholders
- Building and strengthening a sustainable safety culture
- Managing environmental protection processes (emissions, waste, water management)
- Preparing reports and presentations for regional and global leadership
- Active participation in international EHS projects and best practice sharing
What we are looking for
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in EHS, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Solid background in a manufacturing environment – mandatory
- Strong knowledge of international management systems: ISO 45001, ISO 14001
- Proven experience in leading teams and cross-functional cooperation
- Excellent command of English (C1 or higher) – daily communication in a global structure
- Hands-on, proactive and business-oriented approach
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, matrix organization
- Willingness to work across two locations (4 days + 1 day model)
Nice to have
- International EHS certifications
- Experience with global EHS platforms (e.g., GENSUITE)
- Participation in professional associations such as IOSH
