Role and Responsibilities

·      Building, implementing, and improving natural language processing (NLP) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) models for the multilingual European market,

·      Collaboration with other experts and research and development centers,

·      Collaboration with the internal language experts team

Technologies in use

·      Python (NumPy, TensorFlow),

·      Natural Language Processing (statistical and neural language modeling, named entity recognition, evaluation of machine learning models),

·      Data Engineering (collecting training and evaluation data, data augmentation, processing text corpora, data visualization)

·       

Skills and Qualifications

·      Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or related fields

·      Experience in Python

·      Practical knowledge or a strong interest in natural language processing or speech technologies (NLP, ASR) and knowledge extraction from text data or related fields,

·      Knowledge of Linux text shell and scripting (Bash),

·      Knowledge of the English language at a level enabling reading and writing technical documentation as well as conducting correspondence and participating in teleconferences.

Nice to have

·      Experience in one of the following: C++, Java, C#

·      Experience in language processing techniques, such as part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition, or language modeling,

·      Experience in formal linguistics or computational theory,

·      Practical knowledge of deep learning techniques (Deep Learning), neural networks (Neural Networks), and experience in data analysis and visualization,

·      Knowledge of Spanish/French/German or Italian at level B1 (or higher) enabling the performance of tasks involving the processing of linguistic resources.
