Computational Linguist with Spanish at Warszawa

Role and Responsibilities

• Implementation, localization, and improvement of capabilities of our next-generation Intelligent Assistant from the natural language (NL) perspective (NL training, language resources, annotation);
• Development of new linguistic resources or other linguistic tasks based on actual project needs
• Language corpora augmentation with domain-specific text data
• Maintenance of test set annotation and E2E testing on various devices;
• Collaboration with NLP (Natural Language Processing) engineers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, philology or related fields
• Excellent command of Spanish (at C1-C2 level);
• Practical knowledge and experience in formal grammars and syntax;
• Interest in linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Natural Language Understanding, LLMs, etc.;
• Strong will to learn some programming with scripting languages like Python, Bash or JavaScript
• Eager to learn and use new technologies;
• English proficiency at a level that allows for easy communication in a professional setting.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other foreign languages (especially French, Italian, German, Swedish, Romanian, Dutch);
• Previous experience in computational linguistics or NLP/NLU positions
• Practical knowledge of programming with scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript)
• Skills in Git (both command-line and platforms such as Github and Gitlab);
• Familiar with JSGF format;
