Language Test Specialist with Spanish and Polish at Warszawa

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform software and product tests on different devices, including, but not limited, to smartphones, TVs and Fridges.
• Follow testing procedures and quality standards.
• Create test cases based on product specification.
• Discover, analyze and notify the bugs found, with the use of appropriate tools and reports.
• Close cooperation with developers, computational linguists, engineers and other testers.
• Technical documentation analysis.
• Prepare reports for conducted tests, test results and making analysis.
• Design and review test cases, test procedures and test process.
• Configure and maintain test environments and test data.
• Precision and attention to details.

Technologies in use

• Systems: Android, Tizen, OS etc.
• Jira, Confluence, Linux
• DevOps (Git, Jenkins)
• Microsoft Office Excel, Word

Skills and Qualifications

• University degree (technical university or relevant experience in the field)
• Native or C1 in Spanish & Polish language
• Good English level (both written and spoken, at least B2 level)
• Great communication skills.
• Interest in electronics/telecommunication/IT science or equivalent
• Capable of making decisions and working independently
• High analytic skills
• Diligence, quality-focus and attention to detail.
• Thirst for learning and mastering new technologies, with proactive attitude

Nice to have

• Experience in software or product testing
• Knowledge of testing techniques and tools (ISTQB certificate)
• Knowledge of Samsung products (Android, Tizen etc)
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Javascript, Python, Bash, or Ruby,
• Knowledge of telecommunication and mobile technology.
• Knowledge of other languages (French, Italian or German).
• Experience with Jira.
