Roles and Responsibilities

·       Developing text processing modules for Automatic Speech Recognition solution for multiple European languages: design solutions for recognition and linguistic issues, train statistical models, identify performance issues, improve the text-based processing pipeline,

·       Collaboration with other experts from ASR modelling team, Project Leader and Product Owners,

·       Collaboration with language experts and other R&D centers.

Skills and Qualifications

·       Bachelor's or master's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computational linguistics or related fields, or equivalent relevant work experience,

·       Good (at least B2) command of one or more of the following languages: Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish

·       Experience with working with Git/Github in a collaborative team

·       Practical experience with regular expressions (regEx) and/or Thrax grammars

·       Experience in Python or Java,

·       Knowledge of English at a level that enables reading and writing of technical documentation and keeping correspondence.

·       Mind open to learning, finding solutions and independently dealing with interesting problems in a changing environment

Nice to have

·       Using Linux text shell and familiarity with scripting languages (Bash),

·       Practical knowledge or strong interest in natural language/speech processing or machine learning,

·       Experience with Jira or other project management framework,

·       Experience with automation using Jenkins or other CI tool
