About the role
We are looking for ambitious machine learning engineers to help us with the development and optimization of cutting-edge algorithms for biomarker recognition based on data from wearable and mobile devices. Role and Responsibilities
· Conducting scientific literature review, contributing to scientific publications and patent applications.
· Analysis of sensor data from wearable devices, outlining dataset acquisition methodology
· Design and implementation of machine learning algorithms for anomaly detection in biomedical data. Porting and optimization on embedded platforms: ARM.
· Close collaboration with product management to define product strategy and roadmap
· Leading software system architecture design to deliver efficient, maintainable code for model training, evaluation and deployment.
· Design solutions for appropriately incorporating machine/deep learning into product features and effectively communicate this solution to software engineers and business leaders.

Skills and Qualifications
· PhD or relevant work experience in Physics (particularly Optics), Signal Processing, Computer Science or related discipline
· Experience in designing, training, and analyzing machine learning algorithms for classification, regression and anomaly detection problems
· Strong mathematical background (linear algebra/analysis/statistics/optimization methods)
· Experience with standard Machine Learning packages, amongst but not limited to: Tensorflow, Keras, SciKit-Learn, Torch, etc.
· Scientific publications, active participation in conferences in the field of artificial intelligence
Nice to have
· Practical knowledge of libraries related to waveform data processing
· Fundamental knowledge in Optics, Biomedicine, and Digital Signal Processing backed by work experience in biomedical data analysis
· Professional experience in porting neural network models on embedded platforms: ARM
· Professional experience in fixed point C, assembler on generic platforms, optimizing C/ASM code
· Professional experience in developing product-grade code including high-level software development practices, integration into CI environment, proper testing, packaging and releasing of the software
